History of the The W. D. Gann Technical Review
In 1950, W. D. Gann and Ed. Lambert of Miami, Florida established the Lambert-Gann Publishing Company. After Mr. Gann's death in 1955, the company continued under Ed Lambert's management until 1976.
In 1976, Billy and Nikki Jones, of Pomeroy, Washington, purchased the company. In addition to purchasing the company, they also purchased the copyrights and personal correspondence of W. D. Gann. This included the charts, papers, books and writings that he had created and used during his fifty years of trading and research.
In January 1982, Billy Jones started The W. D. Gann Technical Review. As Billy said in Volume 1, Number 1:
The W. D. Gann Technical Review will not be the usual recommendation of what to buy and sell. There are plenty of these around that offer trading advice. The newsletter will stress the many Gann methods and rules to help you with your personal analysis and trading.
Using Gann's original charts, forecasts and notes, we will explain and discuss the methods he developed in his 50 years of trading. With these methods in mind, we will bring out the best of Gann analysis in today's markets.
No other place can you receive the information and charts that will appear in each monthly issue of The W. D. Gann Technical Review.
The New W. D. Gann Technical Review contains both original articles written by Billy Jones and current articles written by Lambert-Gann Educators Inc. The newsletter helps explain the methods used by W. D. Gann. It benefits beginners as well as experienced Gann traders.
This newsletter is for educational purposes only. Some people seek a newsletter that gives the latest 'hot tips'. This is NOT it! Traders who act on hot tips lose in the long run. It is knowledge and experience that makes one a truly great trader!
